It has been reported that a robbery has occurred onboard an offshore support vessel whilst anchored at Abidjan inner anchorage, Ivory Coast (exact position not specified). The duty watchman noticed an unknown person on the deck of the vessel. The perpetrator stole the watchman's phone before failing to throw him overboard, the crewman then raised the alarm. Upon hearing the alarm the robber jumped overboard and escaped on a canoe. The crew have all been reported safe, and the vessel was instructed to move anchorage to a safer location.
