| Open-sources have reported that U.S. forces conducted additional strikes against multiple Iranian military targets (exact time and positions not specified). U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) issued a statement reporting that the strikes were conducted in direct response to continued Iranian aggression against commercial shipping following an Iranian one-way attack drone strike on a Panama-flagged tanker transiting near the Strait of Hormuz at approximately 08:30 UTC on 27 June 2026. The tanker was carrying more than two million barrels of crude oil. U.S. military aircraft targeted Iranian military surveillance infrastructure, communication systems, air defence sites, drone storage facilities, and mine-layer capabilities. CENTCOM have stated that commercial vessel transits through the Strait of Hormuz continue and that U.S. forces remain vigilant. | |||||
