2026-07-12 00:01:00 CWD Notification 010- (Jul 26) Indian Ocean OSINT Military Open source
Open-sources have reported that U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) completed a new wave of offensive strikes against Iran on 12 July 2026 (exact time not specified). The strikes targeted dozens of locations with precision munitions to degrade Iran's ability to continue attacking international shipping flowing through the Strait of Hormuz. CENTCOM forces struck Iranian military air-defence systems, missile and drone capabilities, coastal radar sites, and small boats using U.S. fighter aircraft, naval vessels, one-way attack aerial drones, and for the first time; one-way attack sea drones. In response, Iran's Revolutionary Guards claimed retaliatory strikes against multiple US-linked military facilities across the Middle East. The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced strikes targeting Prince Hassan Air Base in Jordan, a US drone command centre in Bahrain, and Ali Al Salem Air Base and other air bases in Kuwait. Kuwait's military confirmed that its armed forces intercepted hostile aerial targets within Kuwaiti airspace. The Jordanian army reported that its air defences successfully intercepted four missiles launched from Iran, with no casualties or property damage reported. The IRGC stated that the strikes were launched in retaliation for US airstrikes on Iranian territory and warned that any further US aggression would trigger broader responses against American military installations across the region.
