| The Master of a tanker has reported that an unknown projectile was sighted landing in the vessel's vicinity and a very loud sound was heard from the aft section of the vessel, causing severe vibration throughout the ship. As a result, the vessel experienced a complete blackout (loss of main electrical power). The vessel has successfully restored main electrical power and is now proceeding to port under her own power to carry out further assessment and inspections. All crew have been reported safe. UPDATE: Clearwater have received further information confirming that the vessel was struck by an Unmanned Surface Vehicle (USV) at the aft of the vessel. The damaged sustained by the vessel has not been confirmed. | |||||
