The UKMTO have reported that a tanker has been attacked whilst transiting approximately 63nm west of Yanbu, Saudi Arabia (approximate position). The Company Security Officer reported that the vessel was struck by an unknown projectile, causing a fire on the main deck. All crew are safe and accounted for and no environmental impact has been reported. Vessels are advised to transit with caution and report any suspicious activity.
