The UKMTO have received a report of an incident involving a container vessel approximately 14nm south of the coast of Yemen (approximate position). A small skiff approached the vessel, and the crew onboard the skiff opened fire and attempted to board. Authorities are investigating. Vessels are advised to transit with caution and report any suspicious activity to the UKMTO.
