The UKMTO have reported that a tanker has been struck by an unknown Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) whilst transiting the Strait of Hormuz (exact position not specified). The impact has caused minor structural damage to the vessel. The Master has confirmed that there are no casualties and no environmental impact has been reported. The vessel is continuing to its next port of call. The UKMTO continues to investigate and vessels are advised to transit with caution and report any suspicious activity.
