An exchange of fire occurred between the small craft and the vessel's armed security team, resulting in the small craft turning away. UPDATE: The MSCIO have reported that after subsequent assessment, they have been unable to determine the initiator of the exchange of fire, and are no longer classifying this incident as an attack.
