| The UKMTO have reported that a cargo vessel has been approached by one small craft carrying six armed persons onboard, approximately 88nm Southwest of Balhaf, Yemen (exact position not specified). An exchange of fire occurred between the small craft and the vessel's armed security team, resulting in the small craft turning away. UPDATE: The MSCIO have reported that after subsequent assessment, they have been unable to determine the initiator of the exchange of fire, and are no longer classifying this incident as an attack. | |||||
