It has been reported that there has been a robbery on board a multi-purpose offshore vessel operating close to Pemex Maritime Terminal, in the Bay of Campeche, Mexico (exact location not specified). The vessel crew observed a small outboard motorboat approaching their vessel. The boat pulled alongside them and a group of criminals consisting of up to six-armed men boarded the vessel. The robbers threatened the workers with firearms, some of whom took refuge in the engine room; the sea robbers subsequently looted the vessel. Crew reported safe.
