Reports state the Company Security Officer reported that the vessel been struck by an unknown projectile causing a fire, and that the fire has been extinguished and the vessel intends to continue on its voyage. Authorities are continuing to investigate. Further information has been received confirming the vessel involved was a Gibraltar-flagged oil tanker.
