The UKMTO have reported that a container vessel has been attacked whilst underway approximately 15nm Northeast of Oman (exact position not specified). The Master reported that the vessel was approached by one IRGC gun boat. No VHF challenge was issued before the vessel was fired upon, causing heavy damage to the bridge. The authorities are investigating.
