Open-sources are reporting that a Belize-flagged cargo vessel was damaged by an explosion near the port of Chornomorsk, Ukraine (exact time and location not specified). The vessel had discharged cargo and was empty at the time. No crew members were injured, the vessel sustained only minor damage, and the cargo ship is still able to continue moving under its own power. Initial reports suggest that the cause of the explosion may have been triggered by an undetonated part of a Russian Shahed Unmanned Aerial Vehicle that had been downed earlier. However, local media have also reported on the possibility of drifting sea mines.
