| Open-source have reported that a Guinea-Bissau-flagged cargo ship and another vessel were struck by an unknown projectile by Russia whilst operating in the Northwestern region of the Black Sea (exact time and location not specified). The head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, Oleh Kiper, stated that the cargo ship was carrying Ukrainian wheat at the time. The attack damaged the vessel's hull and caused a fire on board. The crew were evacuated to shore, and the injured are receiving all necessary assistance. Reports suggest that there have been one fatality and three casualties. Russian news agency TASS cited the Defence Ministry who claimed both vessels "were carrying military equipment". | |||||
