| Open-sources have reported that a Cameroon-flagged tanker was struck by an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle whilst located close to the Single Point Mooring 1 (SPM-1), Caspian Pipeline Consortium terminal, Novorossiysk, Black Sea on 20 July 2026 (exact time not specified). The UAV struck the starboard aft section of the vessel, igniting a significant fire on deck and in compartments between the accommodation block and engine room. The twenty-two crew members were evacuated onto Caspian Pipeline Consortium tugboats. Emergency teams extinguished the fire within hours. The tanker remained afloat, and no oil spill was reported. All crew are reported safe. | |||||
