| Open-sources have reported that a Vanuatu-flagged cargo vessel was struck twice by Unmanned Aerial Vehicles whilst transiting the Black Sea en route from Istanbul, Türkiye to Poti, Georgia (exact time and location not specified). The vessel was first hit by a UAV during the afternoon of 25 August and subsequently turned back toward Istanbul. Later that evening, the vessel was struck by a second UAV. The attacks caused damage to the navigation bridge and accommodation areas. All crew members have been reported safe. | |||||
