Open-sources have reported that a Russian warship fired warning shots in the vicinity of a UK-registered yacht in the English Channel (exact position not specified). The incident occurred approximately 20nm south of the Isle of Wight. The vessel involved has been identified as the Russian frigate Admiral Grigorovich. The UK Ministry of Defence has confirmed it is investigating the incident. No injuries or damage to the yacht have been reported
