| It has been reported that there has been an attack on a cargo ship whilst underway approximately 40nm Southeast of Umn Qasr, Iraq (exact position not specified). The vessel reported a large explosion following a hit from an unknown projectile on the starboard side. The authorities are investigating. UPDATE: UKMTO has reported that there was a second impact to the cargo vessel, resulting in a fire which has since been extinguished. No report of injuries to crew. | |||||
