It has been reported by the Joint Maritime Information Center (JMIC), on behalf of the U.S military, that the U.S will be conducting operations North of the Musandam peninsula, Strait of Hormuz. As per the notice, all mariners are advised by the JMIC to: • Avoid the Traffic Separation Scheme of the SoH • Coordinate transit with U.S. Naval Cooperation and Guidance for Shipping (NCAGS) • Maintain continuous watch on VHF Channel 16 • Comply immediately with instructions from U.S. forces • Navigate in accordance with COLREGS.
