It has been reported that an attack occurred on an Indian-flagged livestock carrier whilst underway off Limah, Oman (exact position not specified). Initial reports state that an explosion occurred on the vessel, a fire broke out and the vessel subsequently sank. The fourteen crew members onboard were rescued by Omani authorities. A statement from the Indian Ministry of External Affairs confirmed that the crew were safe and strongly condemned the incident.
