The UKMTO have reported that a bulk carrier has been attacked whilst operating approximately 23nm northeast of Doha, Qatar (exact position not specified). The Master reported that the vessel was hit by an unidentified projectile, resulting in a small fire which has since been extinguished. All crew have been reported as safe with no casualties. Currently, there is no reported environmental impact. The authorities are currently investigating.
