Open sources have reported a Cameroon flagged container vessel has been damaged as a result of an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle strike whilst underway in the Black Sea, approximately 90 miles North of Samsun, Turkey. (Exact time and location not specified). It has been reported that vessel caught fire following the strike, the fire was later extinguished with several containers reported as seriously damaged. The extent of damage to the vessel itself is currently unknown, but it is understood that no crew were injured. The vessel has proceeded to Samsun for further inspection and removal of damaged containers.
