Open-sources have reported that a St Vincent Grenadines-flagged cargo vessel has been intercepted and boarded by Finnish authorities in the Gulf of Finland (Exact time and location not confirmed). Unconfirmed reports suggest that the ship is suspected of damaging an undersea telecommunications cable which is operated by the Finnish telecom company Elisa, that runs between Helsinki (Finland) and Tallinn (Estonia). Fourteen crew members have been detained by Finnish Authorities, who are continuing their investigation.
