Open-sources have stated that overnight Ukrainian forces had attacked an Oman-flagged tanker with Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) while underway in the Mediterranean Sea (exact position and time not specified). Initial reports and a video circulating online suggest that multiple heavy bomber drones had connected with the suspected Russian dark-fleet vessel. AIS data indicates that she was heading for Ust-Luga, Russia. Following the incident, the tanker has altered course and is now heading East through the Mediterranean.
