Open-sources have reported that a Russian 636.3 "Varshavyanka" class submarine was destroyed by Ukrainian "Sub Sea Baby" unmanned underwater vessels whilst anchored in Novorossiysk Port, Russia (exact position and time not specified). The Security Service of Ukraine have stated that the Russian submarine "suffered critical damage and was actually put out of action". It is further reported that the Security Service of Ukraine estimate that the cost for the cost may be as much as $500 million for the Russians to replace, due to sanctions.
