Reports state that the vessel is currently anchored Saint Nazaire, where French authorities searched the vessel before detaining at least two crewmembers, who are being transferred to France. The vessel is suspected to have been involved in recent drone activity over military bases and other critical sites in Denmark. Further open-source reports state that the tanker is linked to the "Russian Shadow Fleet” and is sanctioned by both the European Union and the United States.
