Open-sources have reported that the Triton Oil terminal located in the port of Izmail, Ukraine was subjected to a barrage of drone strikes. As a result, a Panama-flagged tanker was struck while alongside to unload product. Initial reports suggest that the tanker sustained significant damage to the starboard side of the vessel along with the pumping equipment, valves, and lines. The port recorded up to twenty direct hits and multiple fires had broken out. Two large storage containers with a capacity of 10,000 cubic metres have been destroyed, with a third damaged. Other areas of the port have also sustained heavy damage. UPDATE: Further information has been received stating that the tanker had not sustained any damage during the attack on Izmail port.
