| The UKMTO has reported that there has been an attack on a vessel approximately 80nm Southeast of Aden, Yemen (exact position not specified). The authorities are currently investigating. UPDATE: The Master reported an explosion in close proximity to the vessel, no damage has been reported and the crew are reported safe. The vessel is proceeding to its next port of call. Confirmation has also been provided that the vessel involved in this incident was the same Marshall Island-flagged LPG Tanker that reported missiles impacting in the water 0.5nm from the port side of the vessel at 17:30 UTC 15/03/2024 as reported in CW Alert 020- (Mar 24), and an explosion from a distance off the vessels starboard beam at 19:45 UTC 15/03/2024 as reported in CW Alert 021- (Mar 24). | |||||
