| The MSCIO have reported that a suspected Pirate Action Group (PAG) has been sighted in the Gulf of Aden, at approximately 12° 42' N 047° 35' E (position approximate, as stated in the source report; exact time not specified). The group is using a green-blue small craft with nine persons onboard. The craft is reportedly carrying two ladders and one hook. It was observed travelling south at an estimated speed of 10 to 18 knots. The MSCIO reported this under their alert reference 156/26. Operation ATALANTA is investigating the activity. Vessels in the area are advised to maintain heightened vigilance, follow BMP-MS, and report any suspicious activity or relevant information immediately to the MSCIO and UKMTO. | |||||
