| It has been reported that the Kuwait-flagged Crude/Oil Products Tanker, AL DASMA (IMO: 9653446), has been involved in a security incident and is currently on fire, while drifting in the Strait of Hormuz. UPDATE: The UKMTO have reported that the vessel was struck by an unknown projectile approximately 11 nautical miles west of Bukha, Oman, causing a fire onboard. The fire has since been extinguished and the tanker is now at anchor. All crew have been confirmed safe, and no environmental impact has been reported. Authorities continue to investigate. | |||||
