| The UKMTO have reported that a container vessel was struck by an unknown projectile whilst transiting the Strait of Hormuz (exact time not specified). Authorities are investigating the incident. UPDATE: NAVAREA IX have reported that the vessel has sunk in position 26° 16.8N, 056° 08.6E, approximately 4nm Northweast of Ras Shaykh Masud. Multiple floating containers have also been reported in position. The vessel has been confirmed as the Singapore-flagged container vessel GFS PRIDE (IMO 9349045). | |||||
