| It has been reported that a Panama-flagged crude oil tanker was attacked by an unknown projectile whilst transiting outbound of the the Strait of Hormuz (exact time and location not specified). The projectile connected with the super structure and caused a fire onboard. Some crew have been evacuated and some remain behind to assist with the tug salvage operation. UPDATE: India's Ministry of External Affairs has reported that of the 19 total crew, 12 crew members have sustained injuries including 11 Indian nationals. The injured crew have since been evacuated with the assistance of Omani authorities and are currently receiving medical treatment ashore in Khasab, Oman. | |||||
