The UKMTO have reported an incident involving a tanker and Military Forces (exact position and time not specified). Authorities are aware and relevant investigations remain ongoing. UPDATE: Open-sources have reported that U.S. forces opened fire on the merchant vessel whilst it was attempting to maneuver past the U.S. blockade on Iranian seaports. It is reported that U.S.CENTCOM claimed that the vessel attempted to run the blockade line in the Gulf of Oman multiple times. The crew did not comply with warnings, the spokesperson reportedly said, and CENTCOM assets responded by striking the vessel's engine room.
