| It has been reported that a robbery has occurred onboard an anchored bulk carrier at Belawan Anchorage, Indonesia. A duty officer onboard the vessel observed several small boats near the forward section of the vessel and notified the bosun to investigate. After receiving no response from the bosun, the duty officer raised the alarm. The crew mustered and proceeded to the forecastle where they discovered the bosun restrained. Seven robbers armed with knives were observed escaping from the forecastle store. Ship's properties have been reported as stolen. | |||||
