The UKMTO have reported that a vessel has been struck by an unknown projectile approximately 17nm East of Dibba, United Arab Emirates (exact position not specified). The Master has confirmed that the projectile caused damage to the steering gear. All crew are reported as safe and there is no environmental impact. The authorities are investigating.
