Open-sources have reported that Russian forces conducted Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) strikes on port infrastructure in Odesa and Chornomorsk on the night of 11-12 July 2026 (exact time not specified). The Russian Ministry of Defense stated that the strikes targeted military cargo handling and storage facilities, the logistics center of the Odtrans transport company at the Port of Odesa, cargo terminal infrastructure, and fuel storage tanks at the Port of Chornomorsk. The Ministry also reported that two cargo vessels, a ferry transporting supplies for the Ukrainian military, and a patrol boat providing security were struck at Chornomorsk. A fishing vessel was also reportedly hit during the attack.
