| It has been reported that there has been a robbery onboard a Marshall Islands-flagged container vessel whilst at anchor at Manila North Port Anchorage, Manila, Philippines (exact location and time not specified). The duty crew onboard the anchored vessel noticed an unauthorised person on the poop deck. Upon sighting, the person escaped. The crew then noticed six robbers armed with guns near the forward storeroom. The alarm was raised and the crew was mustered. On seeing the alerted crew, the robbers escaped with items of the ship’s stores. | |||||
