Open-soures have reported that U.S. assets have conducted air strikes on a communications tower on Qeshm Island and on an IRGC Naval base, Sirik Island (26° 31.5 N 057° 04.5 E), Iran (exact time and position of both incidents not specified). U.S. Central Command has separately acknowledged strikes on Iranian radar and drone command infrastructure on the island. According to U.S. the targets are radar and communication assets dedicated to monitoring the Strait of Hormuz.
