It has been reported that there has been an attempted robbery onboard a Marshall Islands-flagged bulk carrier whilst underway in the Phillip Channel, Singapore Strait. The crew reported sighting six perpetrators armed with knives and a gun-like object in the engine room. The vessel's master reported that all crew are safe and accounted for, and unable to determine if items were stolen yet. The vessel does not require any assistance and will continue her voyage to NPOC, Singapore.
