Open-sources have reported that three oil tankers previously identified as belonging to Russia's shadow fleet were attacked by waterborne drones in the Black Sea on 28 May 2026 (exact time and position not specified). The tankers were all approximately 50 miles off the coast of Northern Turkey when the attacks occurred. No injuries have been reported among the crews.
