Operation ATALANTA have reported that a skiff was attempting to hijack a dhow in the Gulf of Aden. Operation ATALANTA assets in cooperation with the Combined Maritime Forces are currently investigating the incident. Vessels operating in the area are advised to maintain heightened vigilance, adhere to Best Management Practice Maritime Security, and report any suspicious activity or relevant information to MSCIO and UKMTO.
