Open-sources have reported that U.S. forces disabled two Iranian-flagged oil tankers attempting to enter an Iranian port in the Gulf of Oman in violation of an ongoing U.S. blockade (exact time and position not specified). U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) confirmed that a U.S. Navy F/A-18 Super Hornet from USS George H.W. Bush disabled the tankers by firing precision munitions into their smokestacks.
