The UKMTO have reported that several Masters have received VHF broadcasts directing them to move from their anchorages in the vicinity of Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates (exact positions not specified). The report indicates that multiple vessels in the area have been instructed to leave the anchorage, however the origin of the broadcasts and the authority of the station issuing these directions have not been confirmed at this time. There are no reports of threats, damage, or injuries, and no information has been received to suggest that any vessel has come under attack as a result of these communications.
