It has been reported that there has been a robbery onboard a Marshall Islands-flagged tanker whilst underway in the Phillip Channel, Singapore Strait. Four perpetrators armed with knives were seen by crew in the engine room. The Captain reported that all crew are safe and that items of ships spares were reported as stolen. The tanker did not require any assistance and has continued her voyage to Taiwan.
