It has been reported by the UKMTO that there has been a suspicious approach on a vessel, 45 nm Southwest of Al Hudaydah, Red Sea (exact position not specified). Reports indicate that the vessel was approached by a skiff carrying approximately ten to twelve persons, four or five of whom were armed with automatic weapons. The master refused to comply with requests to stop. The skiff subsequently attempted to come alongside and board the vessel. The master deployed a flare, prompting the skiff to disengage and depart to the southeast. Authorities are investigating
