It has been reported that there has been an attempted robbery onboard a Panama-flagged bulk carrier whilst underway in the Phillip Channel, Singapore Strait. Four perpetrators armed with knives were sighted by the crew in the engine room, who then sounded the alarm. A search was completed and no perpetrators were found. Ship master reported that all crew are safe and accounted for with no injury. The vessel is continuing her voyage.
