The UKMTO have reported that a container vessel was attacked whilst operating approximately 25nm south of Kish Island, Iran (exact position not specified). The Master reported the vessel was struck by an unidentified projectile above the waterline which has caused damage. All the crew are safe and accounted for and no environmental impact has been reported. The authorities are investigating.
