It has been reported that there has been an aerial attack on two tankers approximately 5nm South of Basra, Iraq. One of the vessel's CSO has informed the UKMTO that their vessel has a fire onboard, and that the crew have evacuated. UPDATE 1: Further information has been received from the UKMTO confirming that the second tanker's CSO has stated that she is in the same condition as the previously mentioned tanker. UPDATE 2: Open-source articles have been issued showing that the damage was caused by an Unmanned Surface Vessel.
