It has been reported that there has been an attempted robbery onboard a Singapore-flagged bulk carrier whilst underway in the Eastbound Lane of the Traffic Separation Scheme, Phillip Channel, Singapore Strait. Three perpetrators were discovered by crew in the engine room. The Captain reported that all crew were safe, the vessel did not require any assistance, and nothing had been discovered missing so far.
