It has been reported by the IMB that there has been a maritime incident off the coast of Senya Beraku, Ghana( exact time and location not specified). Shortly after departing port, seven fishing boats with seventy-one fishermen came under fire from armed gunmen onboard a black boat. The robbers stole the outboard motors, generators, and fishing equipment. Ghanian Navy and Airforce conducted a joint search and rescue operation to recover the fishermen. There are also reports that the perpetrators spoke Nigerian pidgin to communicate.
