Open-sources have reported that local Turkish fishermen spotted an unmanned aerial vehicle in the water off Karaburun, Turkish waters (exact location not specified). Reports state that the fisherman notified the Coast Guard Command, who tasked an Elite Turkish Combat Diver Team to investigate. The team confirmed that it was an unmanned aerial vehicle. They neutralized it, analyzed it and then destroyed it. Further reports have stated there has been speculation about what type the unmanned aerial vehicle was, but the Coast Guard are still investigating. UPDATE: Further reports have been received, confirming the position of the incident was 41° 21.00" N 028° 40.00" E, within the bay of Rumeli Karaburun, Türkiye.
